A teaching pro based out of Southern California. As a former PGA Tour player, he has a track record of developing top tour professionals and amateurs over the last two decades. His students have won PGA Tour titles to USGA National Championships and he has helped over 50 students earn full scholarships to the nation’s Top Division 1 golf programs.

1996 - US Amateur
In 1996, James became the youngest golfer to qualify for U.S. Amateur at age 14 years, 4 months, 20 days. One month younger than Bobby Jones in 1916.
1998 - US Junior Amateur
James won the 1998 U.S. Junior Amateur at Conway Farms defeating Aaron Baddeley in the finals.
2000 - UNLV
James played one season of college golf at the University of Nevada Las Vegas before turning professional in 2001.
2003 - Nationwide Tour Win
James Monday-qualified for the Mark Christopher Charity Classicand went on to win the event. At age 21 years, 5 months and 27 days, he became the youngest winner on the Nationwide Tour.
PGA Tour
James played on the PGA Tour in 2009 after earning his card in Q School.
Tour of Instruction
James is currently a golf instructor in his hometown of Lakewood, California. His clientele consists of some of the best juniors and amateurs in the world as well as PGA Tour, LPGA Tour, and Korn Ferry Tour professionals.

James recently had the opportunity to be part of Golf Channel's on-site broadcast team for the 2021 US Open and US Amateur..
